Brian Deane has just directed the IFB funded horror film “Blight”. Prior to this Brian had been working on his web series ‘CTRL’ which was nominated for Best Drama at the IAWTV awards in Las Vegas & at Raindance International Film Festival. His directorial work includes the hugely succesful “Volkswagen Joe” which picked up awards in Rome, Boston, Dublin, Galway, Britain and Chicago in 2014 and also won the Best Short Drama award at the Celtic Media Awards. “First Love” (Céad Ghrá) has screened in Galway, Cork, Dublin, San Francisco, Boston, Cleveland, Newport Beach, Rhode Island, Edmonton, Wichita, Washington and Seattle International Film Festivals so far as well as winning best short in the GAZE Film festival in Ireland. Brian is currently in post production for horror film “Foxglove”, due out this year.
Brian won his first short film award for his graduation film ‘Without Words’ in Cannes in 2008 as part of Spike Lee’s International Film Festival.
Brian has an honours BA and MA from University College Cork & Galway.
Anna O’Malley has just produced the IFB funded horror film “Blight”. Prior to this Anna produced “Volkswagen Joe” which picked up awards in Rome, Boston, Dublin, Galway, Britain and Chicago in 2014 and also won the Best Short Drama award at the Celtic Media Awards. Anna’s wealth of Production expertise comes from working on high profile projects like Showtime’s “Penny Dreadful”, History Channel’s “Vikings”, Ridley Scott’s “Halo Nightfall” and Oscar winning John Ridley’s “All is by My Side”.
Prior to starting her career in filmmaking, Anna worked as a Coordintator in the Promo Department of NBC London. After graduating she worked as segment Producer for Ireland’s National Broadcaster RTE.
Anna has an honours MA from Dublin City University and BA from University College Dublin.
Eamonn is an award winning Producer from Dublin with over 10 years experience Film and Television. Eamonn co-produced "Blight" and “Volkswagen Joe” for TW Films and Produced the now multi award wining film "First Love". Eamonn knows his way around a film set, starting his career as a news cameraman, he quickly found his way into live action drama working first as a DV operator and then as a location scout on films such as “King Arthur”, “PS I Love You” and “Neverland”. Since 2009 Eamonn has established himself as an Editor and Producer, working on numerous award winning films, documentaries and commercials.
Hazel has worked with TW Films on a number of previous projects, has been working in commercial production for 10 years, and has a strong slate of funded short films behind her. Her shorts include Time Traveller (IFB Focus Shorts with Collie McCarthy), Honest (IFB Short Stories), Smother (RTE Storyland), Cailín Álainn (Kerry CoCo Film Fund), Brute(Film Offaly with Brian Deane) and Coil (LFS).
